Further stocks of Epilim Chrono 500mg Tablets have just landed at Halliwell Late Night Pharmacy.

The picture above is of our overstock shelves we have plenty of boxes of Epilim Chrono 500mg tablets in stock which are currently difficult to obtain. Many local pharmacies have no stock at all.
Recently we have had a spike in number of calls from patients that cannot get hold of this medicine from their pharmacy, which don’t have their anti-epileptic drug on their shelves to dispense.

I have been saying the above line on numerous occasions to many patients.

I have noticed that many Prescription Only Medicines have some manufacturing and supply issues. Thus leading to patients roaming around pharmacies with their prescriptions hoping to get them dispensed.

We have the items in stock! I have been told of patients visiting two or three pharmacies before walking into Halliwell Late Night Pharmacy with no luck obtaining their prwscription items. I am very pleased to say we normally have the items in stock or able to source them quickly.

Currently there are difficulties obtaining Buscopan Tablets, Sofradex Eye drops, Amisulpiride Tablets, Trimovate Cream. We have them in stock, these are just a few examples recently.

Offering an NHS and Private Flu vaccine Service

We have stocks of Flu vaccines in the pharmacy

We offer a FREE NHS Flu vaccine to eligible patients.

Eligible patients are;

over 65 years of age (or 64 but will become 65 by 31st March 2023)
pregnant
have certain medical conditions such as
Now over 50 years of age can also have the vaccine

Diabetes,
Chronic respiratory disease (Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease COPD or Bronchitis),
Chronic heart disease such as heart failure, angina
Chronic kidney disease
Chronic liver disease such as Hepatitis
Chronic neurological conditions such as Parkinson's Disease or motor neurone disease
Problems with your spleen – for example, sickle disease or if you have had your spleen removed
A weakened immune system as the result of conditions such as HIV and AIDS, or medication such as steroid
tablets or chemotherapy

are living in a long-stay residential care home or other long-stay care facility
receive a carer's allowance, or you are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill

Morbidly Obese (Body Mass Index is more than 40)

Rest assured we have large numbers of the vaccines in stock and able to vaccinate at such short notice. Certificates of Vaccination will be issued straight away.

Children under 9 years of age and never had the flu vaccine before requires two doses of the nasal flu vaccine four weeks apart.
