Flu Vaccine Season 2017 is up and running this week
Offering an NHS and Private Flu vaccine Service
We have stocks of Flu vaccines in the pharmacy
We offer a FREE NHS Flu vaccine to eligible patients.
Eligible patients are;
- over 65 years of age (or 64 but will become 65 by 31st March 2023)
- pregnant
- have certain medical conditions such as
- Now over 50 years of age can also have the vaccine
Chronic respiratory disease (Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease COPD or Bronchitis),
Chronic heart disease such as heart failure, angina
Chronic kidney disease
Chronic liver disease such as Hepatitis
Chronic neurological conditions such as Parkinson's Disease or motor neurone disease
Problems with your spleen – for example, sickle disease or if you have had your spleen removed
A weakened immune system as the result of conditions such as HIV and AIDS, or medication such as steroid
tablets or chemotherapy
- are living in a long-stay residential care home or other long-stay care facility
receive a carer's allowance, or you are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill

For all those patients that are not eligible for a FREE NHS Flu vaccine we offer a Private Flu Vaccine Service at a low price of £15
Also offer the Flu Vaccine for children aged from 1 to 17 years of age as a Private Service.
